Live Action Gala 2019

2019 was quite a year, full of many “life achieving moments'“. But I’ve got to put the Live Action Gala event as my top most humbling moment of the year. It was nerve wrecking to attend the event alone, not knowing anyone there. But while arriving, there was an immediate sense of comfort and confidence, as I was surround by likeminded and brave individuals. I felt empowered, because I was surely not alone!

Meeting many wonderful people, and to my surprise, many who had known me from my social platform and website. I will use the word “humbling” quite a bit, because there is no better word to describe it.

The event was filled with powerful messages from Lila Rose, Ben Shapiro and more. One message that was raw and inspiring was delivered by Gianna Jensen, an abortion survivor, with one quote that has truly stuck with me since that night; “You can not change the world if you resemble it.” It was a key point, a factor in which is hardly spoken. How do I expect to be of any change or impact to this world, if I resemble it?

As the night came to an end, I got to mean two people who have been truly inspiring to me, and in my journey of becoming “explicitly pro-life”. Lila and Ben were truly what made the experience “humbling”. Here’s to all the outspoken advocates, and for daily inspiring me to be shameless in pursuit of justice.
Having been able to be apart of the Live Action movement & Gala Event was so rewarding, all Glory to God. I see Him moving in our Culture, and I’m so humbled to be apart of it, along with every person I have been gracious to meet.
